Danny ‘Falz’ Fahey

Danny is a creative professional who has worked with young people creatively and pastorally since 2002 helping to produce some very successful and original talents in the UK, most notably prolific host and producer Chunky of Swamp 81.

Having worked in some of the most challenging environments in the world exploring the power of music and how it inspires social change, Danny has worked in Medellin Colombia, Harare Zimbabwe, Beirut Lebanon, and across Europe and the UK. He is also amongst the first wave of creative professionals in the UK to work in the context of developing creative work with people on the periphery using the methodologies of social inclusion prevalent in the favelas of Rio de Janeiro Brazil, producing work with both Grupo Cultural Afro-Reggae and more recently with pioneering social enterprise project Agencia Brazil which operates in Rio, Sao Paolo, London and Manchester, helping to develop the very first UK programme as lead facilitator in the Northwest.

By sharing his own experiences and his sense of creativity and risk, he seeks to drive and inspire, and seek out and work with the most hard to reach young people and communities. Assisting them to meet their own future with confidence, skills, knowledge, and ambition.
