Saša Pastorková comes from Banská Štiavnica. She is the founder of the civic association Spectaculum, which currently works more like independent music organization Spectaculum production, which covers most of her cultural activities. She works as the creative director of the festivals Zvuk for Štiavnica and Sound for Modra. She was a member of the program board of the Almaz Banská Štiavnica City of Culture 2019 project, within which she was the guarantor of music projects. Provides production and booking for the music publishing house Real Music House Bratislava, production for the One Day Jazz Festival, manages the Slovak music projects Hrana and Puščaňa, collaborates with Bombura independent cultural space in Brezno, city festivals in Brezno (E & A festival, Horehronské Jazzové dni), open-air festival Slovak Alternative Summer and Art Cafe in Banská Štiavnica.
In the position of music manager, she collaborates with several Slovak musicians, especially in the field of jazz, world music, and classical music. In 2019 she started a successful educational project for children “Hudba robí človeka” and in 2020 she co-founded the summer music school “Summer Time Pop”. She also gains experience by regularly attending international events for music professionals such as WOMEX, the European Jazz Conference, Jazzahead, Czech Music Crossroads, Mercat de Música Viva de Vic, Kick Jazz, and Budapest Ritmo.
