The band had gone a long way with a lot of musicians, through different sounds and ideas, before it became the final duo comprised of Asya Shakurova and Nikita Zhitnikov. She is from Kazan, Tatarstan, and he is from a small town in Northern Kazakhstan – together, they are looking for their own way of expressing their thoughts and feelings in music. The untiring process of human existence put into sensual melodies and described in slightly aggressive words, the searching for answers and new questions, the message in a bottle that could not have been read: that is the band Bottled Fish.
